creative writing isn't something that can be taught. however, we did the best we could this semester- through countless hours of workshops, painstaking critiques, reads and rereads. this is a mere sampling of the work accomplished in a few short months. we present it to the world wide intarrnet for widespread enjoyment and an indirect sense of fulfilled vanity.
direct all comments, questions, and flames to jpk12@duke.edu. for those in christina askounis' class (past, present, and beyond), feel free to submit stories for online publication at the e-mail address listed above.
all else, enjoy. we tried.
